Ben Ahles was born in 1986 in Peoria, Illinois.  Immediately after his birth, he realized what an enormous mistake he had made and fled to Vermont.  A childhood of building forts and dams in the woods fostered within Ben a passion for creating whimsical events in everyday life.  This youthful hobby transitioned into serious focus when Ben attended Wesleyan University in Connecticut to study fine art.  Ben’s art combines mystery with the interactive to envelope viewers in experiences filled with wonder and abnormality.  Currently, Ben lives and works in Brooklyn.
